Marwa Mahmod

Topic - Fostering Resilience in the Classroom

Marwa Mahmod is a Registered Psychotherapist in Ontario with over 12 years experience supporting youth in different capacities. She first began her career as an educator, learning quickly her passion lies in supporting youth and adults in navigating life challenges, attaining a deeper sense of self-awareness and overcoming barriers to personal wellbeing. She has significant experience supporting the Muslim community within her roles at Glendon York University, Nisa Homes, Toronto District School Board and Cedarway Therapy. She currently serves as the Director of Programs at Naseeha Mental Health.
