Asad Choudhary is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in the Faculty of Education at Western University with research interests in the work and wellbeing of Islamic school principals in Ontario. He was a former principal and was awarded the 2016 Alberta Distinguished Leadership Award while serving as principal for the Palliser School Division. Asad presently serves as a professor of Early Childhood Leadership at Fanshawe College, a faculty fellow at Niagara University, and a course instructor for teacher candidates at Western University. Asad is also a co-founder of the Islamic Schools Association of Canada where he serves as a board director and trainer/consultant with a number of Islamic schools across Canada.
