Join us on Sunday April 3rd, 2022 at 3:00 pm along with Nazima from @Nutritionbynaz and Amna from @1866Naseeha to help you prepare an energizing suhoor to start off the first week of Ramadan! Be ready with your delicious ingredients for the recipe. You’ll need oats, milk, greek yogurt, chia seeds, and any toppings of your choice (fruits, nuts, chocolate chips) and don’t forget to bring lots of fun energy!

The idea of this program is not only to create a healthy snack for you and your family, but it’s also a confidential and safe space for participants to open up about any challenges they’ve been experiencing.
We will have Naz teaching us a delicious recipe, while our Mental Health Service Navigator Amna will be guiding conversations about Ramadan, nutrition, and mental health.
The idea here is to work on food prep and skills, but also to allow for participants to engage in therapeutic conversations. It will be an open and non-judgemental environment!

You can feel free to open up about what you feel comfortable with and there are no right or wrong answers.
